Northern Thrushes

19th January 2019

I'm out and about around Cheshire today and I've noted a group of Fieldfares feeding in a field quite near a road, so with a bean bag propped up on a gate I'm trying to get some images of this usually skittish winter visitor to the UK from Scandinavia.

The Fieldfares probably up to thirty in number are sat in a hedge and flying down in to a field feeding on earth worms, they aren't letting me get particularly near so its a bit of a waiting game.

Eventually the odd individual comes near and with some nice light
